When you look at Babs you just think to yourself, “Now that is a Saanen!”   Feminine with excellent dairy strength, clean boned and balanced – add to that a strong rear leg set and beautiful udder that supports outstanding production and components – well, we just had to incorporate that into our herd.

With bloodlines that include Willow Run, Irish Valley, Companeros, Tres Amigos and Cherrypines, there is a great deal of strength of pedigree to this very correct and balanced buck kid.  “Doodle” has a wide and strong rear leg set, very nice front end assembly and is sharp and clean boned.  He scored E in every single trait category, except a V in feet.  We’ll take that!

More importantly, Doodle produces lovely kids with well shaped udders, plenty of production and components, and that correct balance that we like.  

Babs can boast (and she should!) enviable milk records of 5267 lbs/milk, 193 lbs/butterfat and 176 lbs/protein in a 310 day lactation as a 3 year old.  She was awarded Top Ten honors for 2016, placing #9 for milk production (4800 lbs/milk), #7 for protein (138 lbs/protein) and 170 lbs/butterfat.  Her 4 year cumulative totals are:  17,360 lbs/milk, 613 lbs/butterfat and 554 lbs/protein. 

Babs made it out to a few shows in 2017, easily finishing her championship with 3 more GCH wins and 3X Best of Breed.  Just such a pretty doe.
